Admission Criteria
Sharada Public School, Balrampur follows clear and transparent admission criteria for all classes to ensure that students admitted are eligible and ready for their respective academic level. Admissions are granted based on age, previous academic performance, and adherence to CBSE guidelines.
Pre-Primary Classes (Playgroup, Nursery, LKG, UKG)
Admissions to Pre-Primary classes are based primarily on the age of the child and readiness for early childhood education.
- Playgroup: Child should be 2–3 years old as of April 1st of the academic year.
- Nursery: Child should be 3–4 years old as of April 1st of the academic year.
- LKG: Child should be 4–5 years old as of April 1st of the academic year.
- UKG: Child should be 5–6 years old as of April 1st of the academic year.
Primary School (Classes 1–5)
Admissions to primary classes are based on successful completion of the previous grade and age criteria.
- Child must have completed the previous grade from a recognized school.
- Age for Class 1 should be 6 years as of April 1st of the academic year.
- Good academic record and overall readiness for the curriculum.
Middle School (Classes 6–8)
Middle School admissions focus on prior academic performance and readiness for more advanced learning.
- Child must have successfully completed the previous grade from a recognized school.
- Good academic performance in previous class.
- Ability to cope with the CBSE curriculum at the middle school level.
Secondary School (Classes 9–10)
Secondary School admissions ensure that students are prepared for board-level academics and holistic development.
- Child must have completed Class 8 from a recognized school.
- Should meet CBSE eligibility requirements for Class 9 admission.
- Good academic record and ability to handle board curriculum rigor.
- Demonstrated interest in co-curricular and value-based activities is an added advantage.
General Criteria
- Submission of all required documents including birth certificate, previous school records, and proof of residence.
- Child’s interaction/assessment (if required by school) for evaluating readiness and suitability.
- Parents’ agreement to adhere to school rules, fee policies, and code of conduct.
- Availability of seats in the desired class.
